The IBF project/ DiversityMobile (smartphone app, Tablet PC) and the [http://gbolgermany.de German Barcoding of Life (=GBOL)] project depend on '''national/ regional species checklists/ taxon lists''' as managed by [http://www.diversityworkbench.net/Portal/DiversityTaxonNames DiversityTaxonNames] (=DTN) databases to use them as taxonomic backbone in a national and regional context. Such well structured non-commented lists are used as database views as well as as dynamic and periodical database exports in various formats. Thereby, they build the underlying standard lists for web services and interfaces. To document the content of the lists currently used in the IBF and GBOL context and enlarge the acceptance within the project communities they are presented here for open and free download. The '''DTN taxon lists''' do not compete against reference checklists/ red lists etc. released as regular citable publications.
