This list [TaxRef_SNSB-JME_Pisces_Jurassic_Tethys] was compiled by the list curator Dipl. Geol. Martin Ebert and is regularly supplemented based on changes in the latest literature. It contains at present 176 taxa, of which 114 are valid species and 57 synonyms (the latter far from complete). At the moment this list contains only marine actinopterygians from the late Jurassic of Europe, however, the aim of this project is to extend the list to the whole of the Jurassic and to include coelacanths and chondrichthyes as well. Species information always contains author and year of description. | This list [TaxRef_SNSB-JME_Pisces_Jurassic_Tethys] was compiled by the list curator Dipl. Geol.
