The actual lichen diversity in three habitats belonging to different natural territories around Regensburg will be monitored during 13 visits in two years. Detailed informations on occurring plant and cryptogamic species are available for this habitats due to long-time floristic investigations. The actually gathered data should indicate changes in species diversity in these habitats, and provide informations about exact localisations of the observed specimen. Major scientific goal of these investigations is to generate ecological profiles for the observed species based on the vegetation units and substrate types on which they occur. The lichen monitoring is conducted partially parallel to the fungi monitoring (IBF Fungi) in one habitat.
