DiversityMobile WP is developed starting with 2011. The software implementation is realised with the .NET framework.
DiversityMobile WP is available at the Windows Phone Store.
A mobile device which runs DiversityMobile WP should fulfill the following requirements:
- Running under Windows Phone 7.5 or higher
- GPS
- Built-in camera
- Touchscreen
It is necessary that the mobile device is able to connect with mobile phone networks (enables online data transmission via DiversityMobile Web Services).
The following devices fulfill all the requirements
The devices currently used for testing DiversityMobile WP in the field are:
- Microsoft Lumia 640, successfully tested in 2017
- Nokia Lumia 1320, successfully tested in 2017
For the use of the mobile device outdoors some special requirements (after the IP-Standards) are desirable:
- Protection against hazardous parts
- Protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against harmful ingress of water
- Mechanical impact resistance
