Das Projekt verfolgt vier Hauptziele
The 3-year project "BFL – Data flow DWB and FIN" was initiated in 2013. It has the goal to set up a sustainable technical and curatorial infrastructure for data archiving and data managing. The workflow services will ensure the availability of the floristic occurrence data from the past and now for the future. For these purposes the project will establish an integrated data flow from the creating of data by volunteer experts in the field up to the data center at the SNSB. The access by various portals as BIB Portal (BFL Wiki) and FIN Web will be organised. The database management system Diversity Workbench is installed as virtual environment to quality-control and process the BFL data on a long run. Curatorial assistance by voluntereers will be organised. All work is done in strong cooperation between all project partners and stakeholders involved.
